Guess I'm the one to blame for getting the others to spend all their time and money on Epic, and just because I needed an excuse to do a new army myself! Sorry guys!
Seriously though, the Tale of however many gamers events have been popular since the first one in White Dwarf many moons ago, so what better way to promote Epic then by showing how easy its to build an army!
As Tony said, we've all got 4 months to buy, build and paint 3000 point armies. Oh, and there is a spending cap of £125 spread over the 4 months. I'll let everyone get introduced then I'll let you know what I'm working on for the next few months!

The start of something big...
Ok, first off, let me get one thing straight... this was not my idea. Eight wargamers (a breed notoriously fickle and flighty) to spend large sums of money, time and effort on fully completing an Epic scale army each? Oh wait, there's more... to a deadline???No grey plastic, no masses of black undercoated lead, no lumps of unpainted green stuff? Eight fully painted armies, all on fully modelled matching bases, PLUS signature scenery and objectives? Andy, you're a madman, but a madman with vision and I salute you.
